Green lawn products rich lawn

A lot of people believe that they need complex chemicals and expensive formulas for treating their lawn and soil in order to get a green lawn. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. In most cases, you’ll find that a few simple practices will actually suffice in the interest of ensuring that your lawn grows as green as it can grow:

  • It’s important to properly aerate your lawn. This activity should be done in the spring and fall for best results. By aerating your soil, you’ll ensure that the maximum amount of water and nutrients will reach your grass’ roots.
  • Fertilize using organic, slow-release fertilizer. Healthy, organic fertilizer will ensure that your lawn grows to be robust and green. By using a slow-release product, you’ll also make sure that your grass receives as many nutrients as possible, without risking that they’ll be washed away by rainfall.
  • When you water your lawn, make sure that the water actually reaches as deep as 4-6 inches into the dirt. Usually, this means watering your lawn for about 30 minutes at a time, but that value can differ depending on the composition of your soil. The result of this is your grass will develop a stronger root system that will work better towards absorbing all the necessary nutrients your grass will need.
